It’s early voting time!

Howdy Doody

What Time Is it Kids?

Sure sure, it’s not as sexy and dramatic as the presidential election, but then real voting is not for kids, or people who act like kids.  Real voting takes research, decision making skills and time to go to the voting location, usually during working hours.

However, we are here to help!

For Research on the Constitutional Amendments, here are various sources:

The official wording is found with the Secretary of State.

Our Legislature weigh in at the
Texas Legislative Council.

And our ever researching  League of Women Voters add their special spin on the issue while the Liberty Institute gives it’s value voters their opinion.  And Vote Texas  also gives us insight into their views.

While most Tea Party folks are against most of the Amendments, you can find their Houston listing here, and their Grass Roots listing here, with NETarrant, San Antonio and Central Texas rounding out the chorus.

Finally, do a bit of research to see where your county is staging their early voting locations.  The Secretary of State has some general information, always a good place to start with election question.

The City of Keller has a special election on November 8th, be sure to tell your friends in Keller.   Also the folks in the Brazos Valley have a special election they should pay attention to.

You have 10 days to do early voting and then of course election day on November 8th.

But don’t be Pokey and wait til the last minute.  Go ahead, do your research and then high tail it to the polls.  Your State Thanks You!
